Active Noise Cancelling (ANC), on the other hand, enables you to focus on what you’re doing by blocking out any background noise, even in extremely noisy surroundings.

How To Turn Ambient Sound Control ON / OFF On JBL Tune 770 NC Headphones.
First, ensure your JBL Tune 770 NC Headphones are connected to the JBL Headphones app. Then, open the app and select your Tune 770 headphones.
In the app home page, locate the “Ambient Sound Control” option as the first option. By default, it is enabled. To disable, then you can toggle off. The toggle should turn from amber to grey.
This will turn your JBL Tune 770 NC Headphones into ordinary headphones, without ambient sound control. To enable Ambient Sound Control, simply tap on the toggle once again. It turn from grey to amber.
While Ambient Sound Control is on, you can enable noise cancelling. Simply tap on the “ANC – Noise Cancelling” option. This will subsequently disable ambient aware mode. You can also enable ambient aware mode by tapping on “Ambient Aware” option. This will disable active noise cancelling.
