The Caller Name Announcer feature on the Samsung Galaxy S25 and S25 Ultra can be helpful, especially when you’re driving or using a hands-free device.
However, it can also be annoying or intrusive if you prefer a more private experience. If you want to disable the caller name announcer feature on your Samsung galaxy S25, S25+ or S25 Ultra, follow the simple steps below.
By default, this feature reads out the caller’s name or number aloud whenever you receive a call. While this is useful for accessibility, some users may find it unnecessary or disruptive in certain situations.

Disable Caller Name Announcer On Galaxy S25
Launch the Phone app and make sure you’re on the Keypad tab. Then in the top right corner, tap on the three dots icon. From the resulting options, select Settings. In your Call Settings menu, tap on Answering and Ending Calls.

Here you should see the option Read Caller Names Aloud. Tap on it, then use the toggle to turn it off. You can also use the toggle in the previous page.

Once you’ve disabled the option, exit the settings menu and test the Caller Name Announcer feature by receiving a phone call. Now, you shouldn’t hear the caller’s name announced aloud.
